Time to start up with Flamenco Classes this Summer!
Classes available Online, or In Person in Lawrence KS or Shawnee KS.

Classes in Lawrence, KS (limited numbers) or online at Point A School of Dance 3300 Bob Billings Pkwy #10, Lawrence, KS 66049 or Online beginning May 6th. Thursdays 6:15-7:15 Absolute Beginners. If you have never danced flamenco before then this class is for you! We will start at the very beginning of how the rhythms work and teach movment and technique through a basic but fun choreography. Thursdays 7:30-9 pm CST for Experienced Dancers. We will continue to work on Garrotin, the cheerful and festive dance from Asturias.
Classes in Shawnee, KS or online (limited numbers) at Viva Social Dance 5722 Nieman Rd, Shawnee, KS 66203 or Online beginning May 1st.
Saturdays 1:00-2:00 CST Beginners Alegrías- This class is for Beginners who want to broaden their knowledge and start to work on palos in 12s. We will study the choreography as a way to learn and sharpen our technique skills. This session we will focus on the castellana and bulerías.
Online Only- These classes are offered only online and not in person.
Saturdays 3:30-4:30 CST Technique for body and footwork- cleaner footwork, better dynamics and expression of movement are the goals of this class with emphasis on the little details that make a dancer complete.
Saturdays 4:45-6:00 CST Higher Level-for very experienced dancers who want to delve into more complex choreography. We will continue to study Farruca with Baston!
